This device is made from sturdy clear plastic to withstand both wind and weather. It is securely bolted to the roof of the vehicle and lighted from inside with incandescent lamps. There is no need for a ballast or fragile flo-tube in this model. It comes with an orange 911 strobe, invisible under normal circumstances, that can be triggered from the driver's panic button to alert drivers and pedestrians of an emergency in the vehicle. Cell phones are everywhere today and lives can be saved with this feature. Signs are applied like large bumper stickers, and easily removed for replacement. No chance of panels blowing out of a frame with this model. The front of the sign can be ordered with a black "Taxi" panel if desired. MODEL 541717FM     A new entry to our website, this Fluorescent Lighted Ad Carrier has a very light electrical load, yet carries a bright surface for maximum exposure. It can be fitted with markers both front and back, to conform to your local regulations or your tastes. It is a sturdy yet light weight carrier with attractive features and long life expectancy.

Carrier has a molded one piece cover with an aluminum floor. The floor is attached to the vehicle with four mount brackets ( shown above). A carriage bolt is mounted from the bottom of the "bridge" of the mount, and bolted to the floor. Four tech screws or pop rivets hold each foot securely to the roof of the car.  A rubber skirt is fitted top the edges of the shell to protect the wiring and assembly under the ad carrier. A waterproof entry to the car provides power to the fluorescent lamp and ballast inside the carrier. The shell is made of materials which resist discoloration with age from sunshine or moisture.
